Buffalo Chicken Pasta Salad 🌶️

My family has been making this recipe for years and years & it will truly never get old! It’s extremely easy to make, calls for very few ingredients, and can be adjusted to suit all of your flavor preferences 🤌

A quick note before you start:
This recipe calls for a blue cheese dressing, but please trust me on this one! I personally don’t actually like blue cheese at all, but this salad is still one of my absolute favorites because you can’t really taste the blue cheese once it’s mixed into the whole thing - it mostly just adds creaminess. So if you don’t like blue cheese, I still HIGHLY recommend trying this recipe!

Ingredients:

  • Pasta of choice, cooked - my mom always says do bowtie minis if you can find them!

  • Cooked shredded/or chopped chicken - amount is up to you! I do 2 large chicken breasts because we love it high in protein!

  • Franks hot sauce, 3/4 bottle or to taste

  • Marzetti brand* blue cheese dressing, 1 bottle

  • Celery, chopped - amount again is totally up to you! 6-8 ish sticks.

  • Red onion - as much as you want! I do about 1/2!

*The Marzetti brand blue cheese dressing has the BEST flavor in my opinion (I usually get it at Walmart), but if you can’t find it just use whatever blue cheese dressing you’re able to find.

Directions:

Cook your pasta, run cold water on it to cool & set aside.

CHOP your celery, red onion & chicken - throw together in large bowl!

Add franks & blue cheese dressing - mix!

Add in pasta last.

Give it a taste and make adjustments to taste— add more hot sauce or dressing, more onion, etc.

And that’s it! Put it in the fridge for a few hours to get cold & for all the flavors to come together.

SO easy & absolutely DELISH! 🙌
